scope of application

The following General Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between participants in seminars and courses (hereinafter referred to as "events") and Paseo GmbH. Any deviating general terms and conditions of the participant shall not apply.

Registration / Conclusion of contract

You can register online (paseo), by telephone, in writing by post, or by fax or email. Your registration becomes legally binding upon receipt of our written confirmation. Written confirmation will be sent no later than 14 days before the start of the course.

Services

The participation fee is per person and event date, plus statutory sales tax. It includes seminar materials, meals, and refreshments during breaks.

payment terms

The participation fee plus statutory sales tax is due upon receipt of the invoice. Payments are accepted exclusively by bank transfer. Partial participation in the event does not entitle the participant to a reduction in the participation fee.

cancellation

You may withdraw from the contract and cancel your seminar registration. However, this is only possible in writing (text form is sufficient). The following conditions apply to cancellation of registration:

• Up to 14 days before the event begins: free of charge

• From 14 days before the start of the event: 50% of the participation fee

• In case of no-show on the day of the event: 100% of the participation fee

rebooking

You can rebook for another seminar date or name a replacement participant. This rebooking can be made in writing (text form is sufficient). The following conditions apply to rebookings:

• Up to 14 days before the event begins: free of charge

• From 14 days before the start of the event: 20% of the participation fee

If the participant is unable to attend the booked course due to illness, a new date for the same seminar topic will be agreed upon after a medical certificate has been submitted. In this case, no cancellation fee will be charged.

Cancellation of events

If the event cannot be held due to force majeure, the absence of a speaker (e.g., sudden illness of the speaker), disruptions at the venue, or insufficient participant numbers, participants will be informed immediately. Cancellation due to insufficient participant numbers will take place no later than two weeks before the event. In this case, the event fee will be refunded.

Any claims for reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs or loss of working hours are excluded, unless such costs arise as a result of gross negligence or intentional conduct on the part of Paseo GmbH. Please also note this with regard to hotel rooms and flight or train tickets booked by you.

right to make changes

Paseo GmbH the right, in exceptional cases, to replace announced speakers with others and to make necessary changes to the event program (changes to content, methodology, and organization) while maintaining the overall character of the event. Paseo GmbH to make every reasonable effort to remedy or limit any disruptions to services that may occur.

The documents provided as part of the continuing education program are compiled to the best of our knowledge and belief. We accept no liability or warranty for the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, or quality of the content.

Cancellation policy and right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the date of conclusion of the contract. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post, fax, or email). To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period. The withdrawal must be addressed to: Paseo GmbH, Gebrüder-Himmelheber-Straße 7, 76135 Karlsruhe,paseo.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we undertake to refund all payments we have received from you without delay and at the latest within fourteen days of the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same means of payment for this repayment as you used for the original transaction, unless a different method has been expressly agreed with you. You will not be charged any fees for this repayment.

General information

The customer and the participant agree to the processing of their data insofar as this is within the scope of the legal relationship. In addition, as a company, you agree that we may use your logo for our reference page.

copyright

The seminar documents handed out during the event are protected by copyright and may only be reproduced, translated, reprinted, electronically processed, distributed, or published—even in excerpts—with the express written consent of Paseo GmbH the respective speakers.

liability

The events are prepared and conducted with the utmost care by Paseo GmbH its speakers. However, Paseo accepts no liability for the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of the seminar documents and course content.

Paseo GmbH not GmbH for loss of or damage to items brought to events, unless the loss or damage to these items is GmbH to gross negligence or intentional behavior on the part of Paseo GmbH .

Data storage devices brought by participants may not be used on our computers. Should we suffer damage as a result of a violation of this rule, we reserve the right to claim damages.

Therefore, Paseo GmbH is GmbH liable for the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of the information provided there. We store and use participant data in strict compliance with the new German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG-neu) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) solely for internal processing and for our own advertising purposes.

Applicable law / Place of jurisdiction

The contract is governed exclusively by German law. To the extent permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction and place of performance for all claims and legal disputes arising from the contractual relationship is Karlsruhe.

The legal transaction is carried out by Paseo GmbH its own name.
